Iran’s attack on Israel is the ‘first wave’ of escalation in the Middle East

Barrister and UKLFI Charitable Trust Legal Director Natasha Hausdorff says Iran’s attack on Israel is the “first wave” in what will be an escalated conflict.

Iran has launched more than a hundred drones, dozens of cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles at Israel.

The IDF has confirmed the attack is targeted at specific places in the country.

It is believed to be a retaliatory attack after Israel destroyed an Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria, which killed seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Ms Hausdorff told Sky News Australia that the attack was launched on Israeli sovereign territory itself, without the use of its “proxies”.
