Three North Koreans want to tell the world about the situation in the country.

They expose, for the first time, the disaster unfolding there since the government sealed the borders more than three years ago starvation, brutal crackdowns and no chance to escape.

Under the tyrannical rule of Kim Jong Un, North Koreans are forbidden from making contact with the outside world.

A spokesperson for the North Korean government has disputed the claims, which they said were “not entirely factual”.

Starlink is SpaceX’s answer to providing global, high-speed internet coverage using a network of thousands of satellites buzzing around the planet in a region known as low Earth orbit (LEO), about 342 miles above the Earth’s surface. SpaceX launched its first batch of Starlink satellites back in 2019, and since then, adoption of the service has ballooned. Starlink now has over 2 million active customers and is available on all 7 continents and in over 60 countries. Starlink has been praised for its ability to connect remote parts of the world that would otherwise not have access to reliable internet. The service has also become indispensable in areas hit by natural disasters, and, more recently, during times of war, particularly the Russia-Ukraine war. But Starlink’s growing influence is garnering condemnation from some who say that SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk is meddling in geopolitics, while the scientific community is raising alarms of the effect of thousands of satellites on radio and optical astronomy.

The Israeli military says its troopers are "in the heart of Gaza City" as it steps up its ground offensive on the northern half of Gaza. NBC's Jay Gray has the latest from Tel Aviv as the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues despite cries for a ceasefire.

The push into Gaza City guarantees that the already staggering death toll will rise further, while comments from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about controlling Gaza’s security for “an indefinite period” pointed to the uncertain endgame of a war that Israel says will be long and difficult.

Israeli ground troops have battled Palestinian militants inside Gaza for over a week, cutting the territory in half and encircling Gaza City. The army's chief spokesman, Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, said that Israeli ground forces “are located right now in a ground operation in the depths of Gaza City and putting great pressure on Hamas.”

Hamas spokesman Ghazi Hamad, speaking on Tuesday from Beirut, denied that Israeli forces were making any significant military gains or that they had advanced deep into Gaza City. #Israel #Israelhamas #War

A woman is speaking out after being secretly filmed in her bedroom while staying at a London, Ont. Airbnb. She says the camera was found in a phone charger in her room.

Chloe Le Brument and her partner took a quick trip for a music festival this summer. After hitting the road the next morning, the couple realized they had mistakenly taken the charger from the room, thinking it was theirs.

The host's behaviour escalated, frantically pestering the couple with text messages and saying they needed to return the device immediately or he would charge them $70 dollars.

After a closer look, Le Brument says it was her 15-year-old son who discovered there was a hidden camera inside. Within hours, the family notified the police. Brittany Rosen has the story.

Authorities in North Devon have warned residents and holidaymakers about the high tide and volatile weather conditions, after a girl was swept into the sea by a wave.

She was dragged away from the harbour wall in Ilfracombe before being rescued by people nearby using a life ring.
