How Three Characters Almost Destroyed The Fairly Oddparents

The best Fairly Oddparents episodes all have one thing in common, they don't include a certain set of three characters. Nickelodeon had something special with the Fairly Oddparents and the show ran for longer than almost any other show on the network. Timmy, cosmo and Wanda all became important characters in the world of animation. Yet the show slowly began to decline in quality and one of the main reasons for this, was the introduction of three people. The Fairly Oddparents went south fast, but the question is, why?
